“To draw you must close your eyes and sing.”

Pablo Picasso

Begin With Intuition…

We can work with your inspiration … Designs@Adeptpublishing.com
Picasso was right about closing eyes and singing. It does allow the spirit of creativity to flow into the mind. He likely didn’t understand the science behind it. Science is just now discovering in that state of mind, neural portals in the brain open and allow multi-dimensional information to flow free like water flows through river canyons. This is how intuition arrives. It is a “knowing” that is accessed through the mind from a vast pool of universal consciousness. This “knowing” is always the most pertinent and accurate information available because it has not been filtered by our own thoughts. Trusting intuition is a learned skill. I base my design work on intuition, inspiration, and innovation. This is the foundation of each job.

Inspiration is a priceless commodity that comes when the mind is open…
Inspiration soon follows the intuitive process and frees unlimited possibilities to “show up” in the imagination. Without intuition and inspiration, a graphic designer must rely on their own choices, which are usually stored in the memory from past experiences. While these stored experiences are a great source of design direction in many situations, the inspiration that arises through the unspoken voice of the client gives true life to their own design. Designs can be amazing, but if they don’t speak from the heart of the client, the finished product will never feel right. Inspiration can come from anywhere, including small treasures where you least expect them. In my process, I encourage and coax inspiration to arrive in the synergy created between the two of us.

Innovation allows age-old artistic principles  to live in a modern context…
Most everyone in our world wants to keep up with modern technology and follow current trends in art, fashion and cultural influences. Custom design should be flexible enough to encompass all that is new with all that is solid and tested. Innovation is the ability to consider history, foresee the future, and create present-day solutions that work now, yet have “room to grow.” An innovative design sets trends for others to follow. It can influence decisions about buying and selling for decades.
