It is a knowing and a feeling that is accessed through the mind from a vast pool of mass consciousness. The access to this ability is always the most pertinent because it provides the most accurate information available and has not been filtered by our own thoughts. Trusting intuition is a learned skill and the foundation of each job.
Inspiration follows the intuitive process and allows free-reign association with new insights and concepts. Inspiration can come from anywhere, including small treasures where you least expect them. In my process, I encourage and coax inspiration to arrive within the synergy created between artist and client.
Innovation is the ability to consider history, foresee the future, and create present-day solutions that work now, yet have “room to grow.” An innovative design sets trends for others to follow. It can influence decisions about buying and selling for decades. Our designs are flexible enough to encompass all that is new with all that is solid and tested.
